At Akaysha, we’ve always believed that real impact happens when communities come together with heart. That belief came to life on Saturday 5 July 2025, when we proudly sponsored Feast for Relief, a long lunch event hosted at The Dome in Wuuluman, NSW, in support of flood-affected farming communities in South West Queensland.

Born from a simple idea and the determination of a few local changemakers, Feast for Relief quickly grew into a powerful grassroots movement. It brought together friends, neighbours, producers, and supporters from across the region, all united by a shared purpose: to raise vital funds and show solidarity with those who had lost so much.

The afternoon featured generous servings of locally sourced produce, paddock-to-plate dining, live music, and heartfelt moments. Auctions, conversations, and the collective spirit of giving filled the space. Every dollar raised, 100% - was directed to farmers rebuilding their lives after the devastating floods.

Our team felt privileged to be part of such a meaningful and beautifully executed event. Beyond the sponsorship, it was an opportunity to stand shoulder to shoulder with the community, to listen, to share stories, and to be part of something that genuinely mattered.

Feast for Relief reminded us that when people come together with purpose, generosity can become action; and action can change lives.
